Morris Inc. is seeking a driven individual to repair and maintain a variety of small engines, trailers and light construction equipment by performing the duties including, but not limited to, those listed below.

Requirements:

Valid SD driver’s license and commercial driver’s license
Education and/or experience in parts, maintenance of vehicles and equipment
Physically capable of doing manual work and lifting up to 75 lbs
Ability to work independently
Must have 1-2 years’ experience and be mechanically inclined.
Inventory management experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnosis and repair of gas and diesel engines related to small construction equipment.
Diagnosis and repair of electrical issues related to utility, cargo, and equipment trailers.
Diagnosis of hydraulic issues related to small construction equipment.
Maintain and monitor inventory while keeping a clean and safe shop area
Deliver, load and unload equipment to job site and shop.
Ability to use computers for inventory management, parts lookup and budgeting.
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in your work while completing tasks quickly
Monitor inventory to control excessive inventory for best profitability.
Communicate with crews and department managers to understand their needs.
Other duties as assigned.
